Pet care experience
I've had dogs my whole life, in addition to caring for friend's and family's. I own a 7 year old Australian Cattle Dog/Border Collie mix so I know a lot about high-energy breeds and how to tire them out! (For those of you who own a high-energy pup or two, you know how important that is!) I love dogs and would love nothing more than to spend time with yours while you're out and about! I have worked for Rover for over 6 years now, so I know the drill when it comes to your pets. I am comfortable with all dogs, and if your dog has any unique dispositions, I am confident that my experience and communication will ease any concerns you may have!

We are so thankful for Sofie!! She took excellent care of our pup and sent pictures frequently throughout her stay, so we knew all was well. I would highly recommend Sofie. She is sweet, reliable, thoughtful, and responsible.
Sofie made sure the dogs took care of business. She also brought in a package that was left on our porch.
Sophie was great! We have a very high energy dog, who escaped the yard and she caught up to him. She even identified how he was doing it so we could fix the issue. She sent me pictures daily and I could tell our dogs were having a great time with her. If you are thinking about leaving your pets with her don't hesitate, she's really that great. Will be using her again if the dogs didn't scare her off! LOL
Sofie went above and beyond the call of duty when she discovered a diarrhea mess in the puppy's crate. She contacted me immediately and cleaned up as best she could. Thanks!

As a rule of thumb, my goal is to always leave someone’s home nicer than when I arrived. Cleanliness, communication, and trust are so important when it comes to being in someone else’s home, especially when they are not present. If I am taking care of your dog, just know that I will treat both your home and your pet with love and respect.
Information Sofia C. would like to know about your pet
I really appreciate it when I am made aware of all your dogs quirks ahead of time. For example, does your pet do well walking on a leash? Are there certain triggers that I should be prepared for (squirrels, birds, other dogs, etc.)? All dogs have their own personalities and odd behaviors, so I like to be ready for whatever may happen during my time with your pup! Like I mentioned earlier- I have plenty of experience with all types of pets, so don’t hesitate to tell me any information you think might be important for me to know during my time with your pup!
A typical day
Depending on what is near by, we can do a simple 30 minute walk to get the pees, poos, and sniffs out, or we can play fetch (my dog’s personal favorite). Let me know if your dog is a runner so that I can make sure to avoid parks that aren't fully enclosed.

Availability
I am currently working full time (8am-3pm, M-F). I am available after 4pm on weekdays, and any time on weekends. If your dog walking needs align with this schedule, please do not hesitate to reach out!
