I have known Sofia for about a decade (give or take a couple of months) and I am privileged to share experiences that I have personally watched or observed over that entire time. Until late this past July, I had a 62 lb. Pit Bull named Lexus who had the personality of a Lab or Golden Retriever. I was always very particular about Lexus and she was adored by my whole family. The first time Sofia visited our home 10 years ago, she and Lexus instantly became best friends. The first thing Sofia did that day was to sit down on the floor and called Lexus over, who came and laid her head in Sofia’s lap while Sofia petted and talked to her. That scenario and relationship continued for the next 10 years until we lost our Lexus. I’m convinced that Lexus looked at Sofia as part of our family just by the way she always jumped up and ran to greet her anytime she visited. She also would follow her out to their car and watch Sofia’s departure. Being that particular, I had a very short list of persons that I would “trust” to watch Lex in our absence. Sofia was #1 on that short list. She devoted all her time and efforts to taking care of Lexus, walking her and playing with her in our front and back yards, never distracted. So, Sofia was always my first choice to watch and to take care of Lex. I know that is how she also treated her own dog who she had since he was a pup. If you are seeking a really dedicated and loving responsible person who truly loves animals, especially dogs that you would leave your own dog in her care, Sofia would be a wonderful asset for you. She will exceed your expectations and always watch out for their best interest and safety. If I were to get another dog, Sofia would once again be my first choice to take care of my pet in my absence. Sofia is grown and matured much since we first met, but her love and devotion for dogs has grown as well and, remains one of her truly wonderful traits. She’d be a wonderful gifted asset for all your pet needs! I think you have found your best candidate!! She is a pet lover and, very responsible and special in my book!
