Hello! My name is Sofia and I have been caring for dogs and cats since I was 7 years old. I have a golden doodle of my own who I grew up with and she sometimes lives with me in Richmond. I care for all animals and love taking them for long walks and playing with them. I have watched many cats and dogs in my neighborhood and especially my friends dogs when they are out of town or at work. Seeing how much energy a lot of dogs have, I enjoy taking them to the dog park, going for runs, hikes and long walks. It is important for animals to get out of the house and get the exercise they need. I treat animals as though they are a part of the family. I respect them, care for them and treat them with love and kindness. I understand what it means to care for an animal and treat them as if they were my own. I will assure you that I will keep your dog company, keep them happy, play with them, make sure they are being active, eating, keeping them clean and of course most importantly safe. As a dog owner and an animal lover, I am very attentive and want them to feel as if they have a friend and have someone watching them who they can trust and feel comfortable around just like they do with their owners. Dogs deserve to be treated with the up most care and being in the hands of someone who is reliable and responsible. I guarantee you that I will take care of your dog and keep them happy, healthy and safe. Pet care fits in my daily routine because I love to go on long walks, making sure they are eating right, drinking water, taking their medicine on time and watching them to ensure their safety. I never want to see a dog alone and want them to have a companion while their family is at work or out of town. I will always make the animals the main priority. In any home, I will ensure a dogs safety by watching them and caring for them just as their owner would. I always make sure dogs are on the leash, are eating and drinking correctly, taking any medication they may need, bathing them, walking them, keeping them company and treating them with love. I am always keeping an eye out for my pets and making sure they have a companion around them so they never feel lonely or ignored. I am very detail-oriented and responsible, so any request, checklists, or instructions will be followed completely through and exceed expectations.
