Pet care experience
I grew up on a farm in rural Oregon with animals galore! I’ve trained and loved big dogs, small dogs, cats and more than my fair share of barnyard friends. I’m happy to dote on your couch potato pet or run around with your high-energy pet! I have always had a unique ability to develop a strong bond with pets; even those who may be stand-offish or have a history of not being the biggest fan of other people. I'm confident that my calm and intuitive approach will ensure I'm the new bestie to your fur baby! I’m a very active person who loves to go for walks, give belly rubs and play fetch. I’m gentle and compassionate with four-legged critters and will always ensure your pet is safe, happy, and healthy.

Sofi was very communicative throughout. asking questions beforehand and letting us know when she would be arriving to visit with our pup Taj and when she left. She sent us pictures during both visits, confirming she was with him and that he was getting exercise and loves. Great experience for us and Taj, highly recommend Sofi!
We are so relieved to have someone like Sofi watching our fur baby. Obviously a lot of anxiety when leaving your pet for an extended amount of time, but Sofi made it so easy on us. Our dog was taken care of so we'll, and we received constant updates, pictures and videos of Sofi playing with her and going on runs. Sofi was great with my dog! We did a meet and greet to get everyone familiar with each other, and she dropped by to walk my dog with zero issues. Will definitely be working with Sofi again!

A typical day
I love to match a pet's personality as well as provide a challenge for high-energy animals. I can play fetch until they’re tuckered out, walk out all those wiggles, provide training for basic commands, and make new friends at dog parks. For the more active pet, I love to go on some of my favorite dog-friendly trails and hikes!

Availability
I have a lot of flexibility within my personal schedule which allows me to provide excellent care to your fur baby when you need it! I am almost always available on weekends. I work a hybrid schedule for my career job that allows me to work remotely either from your home or from my own. This means I can spend a lot of time with your pet during weekdays. I'm also always available in the early mornings, and evenings during the week! I'm a very active person and go on daily long walks and hikes so dog walking fits perfectly into my routine. I also no issue with driving several times during the day to check on a pet for drop-in visits or pet sitting during the day to ensure they happy as can be!
