I'm a marketing professional who moved from Australia to the U.S. two years ago and now call OC my new home. When I'm not working, I love to be working out, going for a run, trying out new places to eat (a big foodie), hiking, anything that lets me enjoy the sunshine. I've previously owned a German Shepherd x Retriever (Marshall, passed lived till 16yrs old) and Golden Retriever (Bruno, currently a 4yr old large puppy in Australia with my family). I am a BIG dog lover, and with my Bruno (golden retriever) back home in Australia, whom I miss immensely, I thought this would be a great way to love and care for others peoples dogs, get my puppy/dog fix, and get me outside enjoying the sun with fur-babies. Having owned large breeds, I feel quite comfortable with dogs of all sizes. I can handle the 'not-so-pretty' side of pets, but thoroughly enjoy the fun stuff! I love all dogs, so can happily say I will look after yours, as if they were my very own. :)

Smitha is absolutely incredible with dogs! I have two labs and she became best friends with them right away. Having Smitha care for your dog is absolutely the next best thing to doing it yourself!
My dog became a little anti-social after being on bed rest for a while recovering from surgery, so I was nervous about asking someone to check in on him when I left for vacation. He's a bigger dog and I've seen many people get intimidated, especially when he's being standoffish. But Smitha was wonderful and came over beforehand to meet him so he'd be familiar with him, and was so patient with letting him warm up to her. While I was on vacation, she sent updates and photos to let me know he was doing well. I would definitely ask Smitha to dog sit for me any time! Having someone who genuinely loves dogs and knows how to handle them makes all the difference.
Smitha is one of the best people I can imagine to care for your dog. She has done so with servers collegues and friends with a range of large to small dogs. She is gentle, patient, and has a true love for animals. Not only will she follow your instructions on how to care for your dog, but she will put in all the effort into giving the affection and attention your furry family member needs while you are away. It's not hard for her to care for your dog because she has experience with her own and loves them all.
