Pet care experience
As someone who has had pets themself, I understand how crucial it is the find the right person to trust with your fur babies. Let me be that right person for you! I’ve been taking care of pets of every kind since I was kid. Starting at around 12 years old I was the designated pet care taker to all of my neighbors and friends as I had earned the trust of many through my love and attention to animals.

I have a pit terrier that is not the best around other dogs. Skyler was receptive to my specific instructions and had no problem with her. We will be using her services in the future. Absolutely recommend Skyler!
Skyler has taken exceptional care of my family’s dog, Henrietta. She is very loving and kind of Henri’s needs, including her need for affection and playtime! Henri is a bulldog who needs a lot of water especially on hot days and Skyler is always attentive to that. 10/10 would recommend Skyler!
Skyler would make a great pet caregiver/walker. She loves animals and is very reliable and responsible. She has watched my dog Angel numerous times in the past and Angel was always excited to see her when she came over. You can't go wrong having her watch your fur babies!

Safety and care is my #1 priority. I am well versed in animal behavior and closely monitor pets who I’m caring for to understand what they’re trying to communicate. I also make sure to ask a list of questions to the owner to better understand pets before I meet them to know if they have any particular behaviors or health issues I should be aware of.

It’s important for me to know about their health history (allergies/body issues/etc.) as well as any behavioral issues they may have (are they reactive dogs/do they play well with dogs bigger than them but not smaller/good with kids or not/etc.). Once we’ve established that, I like to know the little details if possible - what’s their favorite toy, treat, park, etc.
A typical day
I believe is physical and mental activities for dogs to get them properly active and tuckered out! I like to go on long walks with lots of stoppage time for smells and wandering around as well as playing games at home.

I am currently working part-time with a waterfall type schedule throughout the week. I am available at variable times on different days and will make your pet my first priority!
