Pet care experience
Our home has always included 4 legged family members. When I was little and people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up I’d reply “ I want to work with animals” my first job was at a local doggie daycare as a boarder. It was exciting to be around different dogs of different breeds, size, and ages. I really enjoyed taking care of their needs while employed there…unfortunately the hours were just too much to prioritize school.

Skyler has done a wonderful job watching my dog Zoey as well as my cat Socks. Zoey gets so excited when she sees Skyler and runs around in excitement. Skyler is very sweet and takes great care of both my pets. I would recommend her to any pet parent.
My Shadow loves Skyler. He get's so excited whenever she comes to visit. Skyler has provided sitting services for my family since she was in high school. She can always be relied upon for his care whenever we have to leave town. She's really good about providing us with updates on he is doing, and if he is eating. She provides daily walks and most importantly love. Skyler is the only person we trust to care for our fur baby when we must leave him behind.

At my home, animals have free range, they can cuddle up on the couch and sleep in my bed if they are allowed to. Of course this is not the case in every home… so whatever rules apply at the home where care is being provided, I will do my best to see that they are followed.

It’s important to me to know your pets schedule, as I want to make sure they remain on a consistent schedule while you are gone. When do they usually eat, walk, sleep, etc. This is extremely important as it will help your pet feel more comfortable and less stressed. Medicine needs are also extremely important.
A typical day
The community in which I live is very dog friendly, and Is ideal for walks with large grass areas and shade trees for those hot days. If your dog requires more than daily walks and indoor play and is social, there is also a nearby dog park we can visit.

I’d say at this time my schedule is flexible to your needs. All of my courses are currently offered online so I am available weekdays, weekends, and all major holidays.
