Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs since I was around 9. Family, friends, neighbors and now clients! I work for Southpaw Pet Resort on Hilton Head Island. I’ve been with them since November 2021 and have enjoyed it. I’ve helped take care of many breeds and different needs and special needs

Skylar is the best! There is no one else I trust to watch my cats every time I travel out of town. She loves and cares for them like they are her own. I know I don’t have to worry when she is there. I could not recommend anyone better.
we love love love Skylar! She’s extremely patient, knowledgeable, and extremely flexible in regards to her availability. She’s taken care of my dogs long before joining Rover and we will most definitely be using her services in the future.
I wouldn’t hire her to sit my dogs. Unprofessional and not a nice person. Cares more about her friends and dogs than she does other peoples.

I do live in an apartment with my 2 fur babies (German shepherd and Rottie mix) but able to come to clients houses and stay as I do live with my fiancé. Both parties are taken care of this way! Meet and greets I have found are very helpful to meet you and your fur baby (babies) this way. These also help with going over schedules and how we can accommodate to the best of abilities possible!

Please let me know if there’s any medical or behavioral traits! Nothing scares me and I’m willing to work the best I can with everyone. I prefer meet and greets for us to go over everything and for questions on both ends and for the pups to get meet me and see how we click together.
A typical day
I love to travel and have adventures with my pups. When we are in places I ask parents some places to go and enjoy with the pups. I try to avoid car travel with pups who aren’t mine.
