I’ve taken care of and trained dogs since I was 9 years old. My friends regularly rely on me to walk, feed and care for their dogs if they travel. I spent most of my childhood raising and training puppies. I love dogs of every shape and size! I look forward to caring for your furry friends like they are my own.

Skylar is so wonderful and has an obvious love for dogs! She was so great with boarding my puppy and even continued working on our training exercises with him. Her golden retriever Chaga is so sweet and playful and was exactly the friend my puppy needed while I was away. This was my first time boarding a dog, and I am so grateful that it was a good experience for both me and my pup!
Skylar has been our go to dog sitter for about a year. She has always been there when we needed her. She’s very sweet and responsible. She is currently working on her masters in forestry and has a very cute well trained dog of her own. I don’t know what we would do without her!
Skylar has watched my dog Hollyhock who is around 2.5 years old several times over the last year and a half. Hollyhock is always very comfortable with her and has a very easy time being left with her for extended periods of time. Skylar is very patient and has shown she is very responsible and respectful whenever caring for my animal!

A typical day
I typically take dogs to Crystal Lake Sports fields or the MacDonald-Dunn research forest for walks. I love to incorporate fetch and some mild training into walks. I typically reinforce recall and love to make walks into games to really get the most out of a walk for your dog.

I am currently a graduate student who mostly works from home. I have a very flexible schedule and rarely leave the house for more than 2-4 hours.
