Overall: 2 stars. I hired Skylar last minute after a previously-booked sitter had a family emergency that needed to be tended to. We had a meet and greet and everything seemed to be fine, and she took care of my dogs over a two-week period. One of my dogs was having anxiety issues and started having regular accidents in the house (extremely unusual), and Skylar made sure to always clean it up with no issue. After I returned home from my vacation, I reviewed my Nest cam footage to make sure everything went OK, and immediately saw things that caused concern. She was supposed to do three 30-minute visits (just two on the first day), but only stayed for roughly 10 minutes on those first two visits. Additionally, she brought several of her friends into the house on the second visit. They were very nosy--looking at everything around the house and making comments, and they all wore shoes in the house. I specifically talked to Skylar about these things during the meet and greet. Previous sitters have tracked in lots of mud and made a mess of the floor and also brought other people in the house without my knowledge or prior coordination. My simple requests were ignored and I felt disrespected. When I confronted her about these concerns, she stated (quoted from the message): "I’m sorry. I did notate it in the card that day. I had to take my friends somewhere right after my visit and they refused to sit in the car. I also was sick (throwing up) so they wanted to make sure I could handle it that night." First, there was no note in the card for that visit (Skylar said she was having issues with the cards and with contacting me, as it was her first time using the app). Second, I do not care if friends "refuse" to sit in a car, but they don't need to come into my house unless there is some dire emergency. Additionally, she did not provide regular photos for each visit as I had requested in the app during booking. She mentioned several times that she was struggling with contacting me or providing information, but in my detailed sitter instructions (which were typed and left out for her), it contained direct phone numbers for myself, my wife, and an emergency contact--none of which were utilized. Although subsequent visits were without drama and she handled the issue with one of my dogs having temporary incontinence problems, I cannot recommend Skylar to others due to the lack of communication and the fact that she willingly brought several unknown individuals into my home against my wishes and without attempting to notify me in advance.

Ms Price has done great training with two rescue dogs. One a puppy around ten months old the other about two. With the oldest being a husky it was a challenge but she had turn him around and has givin him a great home and good training to follow.
