Pet care experience
After getting to watch over my own dog’s best fur friend for extended periods of time, I knew that being a sitter was the right job for me! I love being able to care for pups and make sure that they have enough love and care to thrive in the world, so being a sitter really is a dream come true for me. I also know how difficult it can be to leave your pup when you’re away, so I want to give back to owners by giving them peace of mind. I just want to bring as much puppy happiness into the world as possible! One of the best things about me is that I am a full-time dog lover! I’m a teacher, so sitting dogs is my way to reset from the busy school year during the summer. I’m available to sit and walk literally all day, so your pup will have a great companion in me the whole day long! That makes me a great partner for pups that are used to having a human presence around them during the day—or for ones that could benefit from that! It also means that your pup will never be crated for hours on end either; rather, they’ll have all the freedom to run around in as they need. I’m also available to work around busy or unorthodox schedules during the summer! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. When your pup is under my care, they’ll be in a very loving and supporting household. I’ll be the primary caregiver for your pup, but I also live with my fiancé, who is happy to lend a helping hand whenever necessary. He loves dogs of all sizes, so having a pup around is just all the more fun for us! We also have an 18-month-old Boxer pup named Hagrid, who is just about the friendliest dog in the world. He’s always happy to meet new friends, so having people over is a very special treat for him too!

Skylar is a great, caring, dog loving owner. She is very responsible and took care of my pup Kiba as if he was one of her own. She made sure he was well fed and had lots of play time along with outdoor time. Kiba is always happy when he spends time with her and her pup Hagrid.
Skylar is the biggest animal lover I know. She is responsible, thoughtful, and have a huge heart full of love. She treats pets she cares for as if they were hers. She loves to cuddle and take walks.

A typical day
I like to lead an active life, so your pup will be right at home with me if they like to get lots of exercise! Hagrid typically demands lots of exercise, so we’ll have no problem getting out and about. There are lots of great places to head nearby, so your pooch will never be starved for adventure. If we’re staying local, there’s plenty to do around the neighborhood, but we also have a great park if we want to venture out! We are within 10 minutes of two dog parks, so meeting some new friends is definitely on the menu at any time.
