Pet care experience
I am an Oregon native and self proclaimed dog lover, who has owned and cared for all kinds of dogs, cats, and even farm animals since I was eight years old! Additionally, I worked for a professional dog boarding facility for a year before deciding to transition to Rover. This means I am experienced and comfortable with all kinds of ages, sizes, and breeds, from elderly mastiffs to young pups! I am well-versed and trained in administering various medications to dogs and cats, so if your fur baby requires medication I am happy to help! I currently have three of my own dogs and three chickens, and I promise to provide the highest standard of care and treat your fur baby(ies) like my own!

We had Skylar house sit while we were out of town and she did a great job taking care of our dogs for us. She checked in every day and sent pictures of our dogs; we were able to see they were enjoying her company and they were well-cared for. We were able to have a stress-free vacation thanks to Skylar and would definitely book with her again!
Skylar is a very attentive dog sitter and spent a good amount of time interacting with our pup. She has watched our dog Dani multiple times and I'm always pleased with the quality of care. My dog loves being cared for by Skylar and enjoys the walks and attention she gets during these visits. Dani gets a special diet and vitamins with each meal and Skylar administers them perfectly each time. It's nice because after visits with Skylar, Dani is tuckered from playing and sleeps well the next few days. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a dog sitter or dog walker because of her true passion for caring for your dog like they're family.
Skylar has been a beacon of light for pet care! I leave town frequently and always have Skylar watch my three high energy pups! She gives excellent, thorough care and always updates me! She is communicative, kind, compassionate with a total passion for animals. Easy to speak with and follows directions well as all of my dogs require different care levels and medications. These could include playing fetch, practicing some commands, lots of sniffing on walks, and even puzzles and kongs as a boredom buster for an additional fee- just ask!
