Hello dog owner! I'm Skye, an avid animal lover. I am a former animal care attendant for a non-profit dog rescue in LA that has just moved to Colorado! My household has always been welcoming to animals of all types; I'm never truly at home without a dog around. I've been caring for my own dog--Ripley, an 16-year-old terrier rescue--for the past 10 years and have always been the first to sign up for taking care of pets for friends & family. Before I moved I worked at a non-profit animal shelter where I was trained once a week in dog handling and behavior, along with plenty of hands-on experience! As a shelter worker I worked with dogs of all sizes, meaning I'm perfectly comfortable working and playing with dogs of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I'm happy to work with any kind of dog, from a couch potato to a total spazz. Along with dogs I have experience caring for cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, fish, reptiles, rodents, and even some small farm animals! I have a special fondness for rats; I have my own little colony of 6 girls at home. I can't wait to meet you and your pet(s)!
