Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with dogs since I was very young. I volunteered at the pet adoptions every Saturday throughout middle school and high school. I walk them, feed them, play with them. Friends have asked me to look after their pets, I can feed, bathe, walk, take them out if need be.

Skye did a great job of looking after my cats. The cats liked her and actually came out to visit with her. She went the extra mile in spotting a leak in the ceiling, cleaning up the mess and putting a bucket under it.

I always meet the pets I’m watching before I actually start sitting just so your pet can get use to my smell and my presence being in their home. I always check on the water, I will stick with whatever feeding schedule they are adapted to. I let them out to run around in the yard or walk depending on the housing situation. I can take your dogs to a park if need be by car or walk. I’ll play with them and I’m very open to whatever needs your pets need if that’s medication, baths, etc.

Important info I like to know is everything. I like to know their personality, what they like what they don’t like. What makes a dog comfortable when around new people. Food aggression if it’s there, aggression towards other dogs, anything that’ll make the dog nervous so we can avoid those situations and keep the dog happy.
A typical day
Really depends on the dog. Some have energy and we’ll play fetch in the home or go outside and play fetch out there. Wrestle around a little. I’ll take dogs to dog parks or walks. Making sure your dog gets enough exercise and is a well balanced dog is very important to me.

I’m currently working night shifts but I’ll be around the dogs or cats once I’m off all day. My schedule may be a day schedule it just depends but regardless I’ll spend every moment I’m off with your pet(s).
