I may be biased, as Skye is my daughter. But I have rarely met a person who has such a loving and empathetic connection with animals. Skye grew up in the countryside outside of Madison, Wisconsin. When she was a little girl, she would rescue mice, birds and bunnies from the clutches of our cat, Milo. She once found a fawn on the edge of our woods, called animal rescue to find out what to feed it, and made sure it stayed safe in the location its mother left it - as she was assured the mother would come back (and it did). Over the years she has been called on to care for friends cats, dogs, chinchilla’s, pet rats, and birds. She has grown up with dogs (large and small), cats, and pet rats. She has ridden horses, and when we took a trip to Scotland, she was the only one who the roaming sheep flocked around and let her pet them. She has just landed in Portland to begin her post college life, and she could not bare to leave her beloved little 10 year old poodle mix companion, Roddy, behind. It was clear to me, that it would break both of their hearts to be separated, so I drove out with them to help them launch their next adventure together. Skye put’s others before herself – especially animals. She is completely responsible and caring and would become a great friend to any pet she was able to develop a relationship with.

I have known Skye for a very long time, and in that time she has always had pets in her life; dogs, cats, rats, baby deer... She is incredibly conscientious, responsible and caring. I do not hesitate in giving Skye my highest recommendation as someone to care for your pet. Dave
