Since I was a little girl, I always knew that my passion in life was to care for animals. While I was at high school I spent time volunteering at a place called dogwatch, which found homes for orphaned dogs. I also did a variety of pet sitting jobs for both dogs and cats and I often had my friends dogs stay at my house when I was at university. I’ve always had at least two dogs in my household since I was born. I’ve looked after every type of dog, from small to big dogs, hyper dogs, lazy dogs, naughty dogs, sensitive dogs, young and old dogs. My love for animals carried on into my studies. I graduated from the University of Otago last year with a Bachelor of Science majoring in Zoology and an Honours degree in Ecology. I now live on Maui and I am dogless, so Rover sounded ideal for me! I miss having dogs around me and I would be honoured to spend time with your special dog. I love spending time outside, so I can guarantee that your dog will get lots of fun runs and walks with me. My last dog was a very sweet old girl who needed constant love and reassurance. She had some problems with anxiety so she needed a gentle and loving hand. Therefore, I am used to looking after dogs that are a little more high maintenance. So if you want to make sure your dog is getting enough love and attention, then I am definitely the right person for you!
