Sky was amazing with our rescue dog and opened her up so much! She helped her learn new toys and be around other animals!

I never leave reviews but I read the previous negative review left for Sky and I wanted to let others know know may be on the fence about using Sky that my experience with her was great! I was coming in for a wedding from Philly and was not happy with the previous boarding facility I put my puppy in, so I decided to bring her with me and have someone watch her the day of the wedding. I contacted two sitters on Rover and Sky was the only one who got back to me. Sky was great. First off, I dont know the area. She was so sweet helping me locate safe hotels for my son and I that were pet friendly and making sure they were close to her and the venue. Secondly, she was so flexible with times. I wasnt really sure what time I would get there or what time I would pick my pup up, and Sky was just so laid back. Leaving your loved animal with anyone is scary and I wasn't able to meet Sky beforehand due to our distance. I got to her house and met her and her boyfriend, he was very socialable as well, my puppy ran over to him and was jumping and he leaned over and petted her. The previous review states that the dogs had the run of the house- this was not the case when I arrived at all. Sky had a gate up blocking the steps. The previous reviewer also mentions that Sky couldn't handle the dogs together and honestly in my opinion this woman's dog must have been out of control. When I got to Sky's she had her dog, Gabby, in a crate. I didn't didn't realize Gabby was in the living and nor did my dog until Sky mentioned it, that's how quiet she was. My puppy is by no means small, she is an Olde English and at the time of this review weighs in at 53 pounds. I was nervous because she is like a bull in a China shop and has never been around cats. Sky took preventative measures and had the cat away in the beginning. Sky sent me pictures and videos all day including their ride to a park and photos of the walk and that was just awesome for me! The best is that my dog and her dog got along perfectly fine. My dog is also special needs and Sky was so laid back and accommodating with that and making sure she got her meds. She even let my pup take home a small stuffed toy that she became fond of. I would definitely use Sky again, I don't know what the other reviewer is talking about!
