Pet care experience
Growing up in Portland, my family always had at least one dog around the house at all times, and usually more than one! We adopted from the Oregon Humane Society, and often our dogs needed a little extra patience and care because of past traumas and anxiety. I am especially comfortable with medium/large dogs, and I have a background in handling leash anxiety and “escape artists.”

Sky did great taking care of my sweet but anxious (and sometimes reactive) doggo in our home. Sona warmed up to her immediately, and she kept me updated throughout her stay. Plus, she was available last minute when my original dog sitter fell through. I will definitely be using her again!
Sky sat for our pup during a weekend away. She did a fantastic job keeping us updated with photos, which was a big relief as this was our first time leaving him with someone who wasn’t family. He got plenty of exercise, and she was great with following detailed instructions for feeding and potty breaks. Absolutely would have her sit for us again!
Sky is great! She is reliable and communicative, and she quickly adapted to our dog’s quirky personality. (He thinks he’s the boss.) Thanks, Sky!

Please let me know ahead of time if your dog has a bite history or any behavioral needs that I should prepare for. Additionally, my current dog has epilepsy, so I am comfortable administering oral medication.

I have a car, and I am more than happy to take your dog to a dog park or on a hike with me and my friends (if that is something you are comfortable with).

I am currently a college student, but my class schedule leaves a lot of free time to for drop-in pet visits and walks. My weekends are almost always free, so let me know if you need in-house sitting on those days. Reach out to me, and I’m sure we can make something work!
