Pet care experience
I have owned and cared for dogs all my life. I pet sit for families from time to time in my home and as an animal lover, it’s always a treat! Our children are also pet lovers and no matter where they come from, they’re always loved here. I have experience caring for dogs with medical needs or dietary restrictions as well. Your dogs will be treated like a member of our family.
Reviews
Responded quickly. Very kind. Great home for daycare.
Skirla and her family are amazing. She took such great care of my Jett. He had surgery on his eye and needed special attention. She went above and beyond for him and we are so grateful. She sent me pictures of him and always communicated with me. We will definitely be using her again! She loved and cared for him as if he was her own!
Skirla is a great person, she and her family took care of Phoebe as if she were their own, always sends updates and videos and answers everything we ask. My dog almost didn't want to come home 😂 I recommend her and I already know who we'll leave Phoebe with the next time we need!
My little Daisy got a whole sitter family. She received so much loving care from the sitter, the kiddos and the family fur baby. She actually seems confused about leaving. She is a rescue dog and she came home with a better behavior on potty breaks. Thank you so much

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs are free to roam around our house. I ask that proper bedding, crate, leash and any other comfort items are provided by the owners. I don’t allow visitors in our home while petsitting in order to minimize the stress and anxiety on the guest pet. Our backyard is big and is fenced in. Dogs are allowed to play outside for as long as they want (weather permitting). I keep fresh water on our deck for hydration during playtime in the backyard. Potty breaks are every 0-2 hours, or whenever the dog feels like it’s time to go outside. During the night I prefer to keep the dogs in our bedroom for their comfort and for rapid response in case there’s an emergency. I have two animal hospitals within a mile radius: Youngsville Animal Hospital and Heartwood Animal Hospital. Both places are wonderful! Pet parents will receive daily updates about their furry babies and will be kept informed of their activities via text message. Pictures included. I can provide dog food unless the owners prefer to bring their own. Medications and allergies: please let us know in detail about your pets medication regimes or allergies we need to consider. I have a small terrier who’s very sweet and friendly. He gets along with other dogs without problems.

Information Skirla N. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your furry baby has any special needs, routines, personality traits I need to accommodate. Not all dogs are the same and I like to tailor the standard of care specific to the dog I’m caring for. I want them to have a stress-free stay and make them feel at home.
A typical day
I have a big backyard with a lot of doggy toys. I’m usually outside with the little one and our dog, getting our morning sun and play time. I go for walks down our neighborhood too. I accommodate play time according to each dog’s energy.

Availability
I am a stay at home mom who’s home 24/7. I’m Available holidays and weekends as long as there’s nothing scheduled to do outside the house for a long period of time. Usually I take our dog with us on a little car ride to school carpool in the afternoons. I would be happy to take yours too if allowed. On the days my schedule is blocked off, I am open to consider emergencies bookings on a case by case basis. I’m only one call or text message away!
