Pet care experience
Hello there! My name is Sitara, but I go by the translation: Star! As I'm sure you can tell from my profile, I've been inactive here for some time. I stopped a few years ago to pursue experience in the veterinary field and am now building on that through education in Canine Obedience at Animal Behavior College.
Reviews
Star is honestly the best walker out there! I needed last minute walk and she came and saved the day once again! Thanks Star!!!!!
As always it was a pleasure working with Star. She took great care of our pup and was super in touch with us!
I loved Star! She was so kind and took great care of my baby! And was so attentive. When my dog got back he was exhausted which was very good for my energized dog! Also he looked so happy when he got back <3 All in all she was great and I would definitely book again!!
Sitara was so great! Kind, communicative, and trustworthy! I was very busy, and she was very flexible. I am grateful for her kindness taking care of my little ones.

IMPORTANT: I am not comfortable using prong or shock collars. I hope that you can understand. If needed, I can bring my own dog's tools (front connecting harness [must be 85-130 pounds for this], treats [please let me know if your pet has any allergies!], etc.). Or, if you could make a list of your pets preferred reinforcers (praise, plays, petting, etc) for me to utilize during my walk or stay, that'd be fantastic!
Information Sitara N. would like to know about your pet
I have no breed or size preferences- please just keep in mind my aforementioned boundaries with prong or shock collars. If no other collar is available, I can either bring my own or I know that the SF SPCA typically has a ton of them in their donations if you ever need one for free!
A typical day
For dogs, I'll provide leashed walks through the neighborhood or nearby parks. For stays, that'll typically be 2-3 times a day. I also have a blast with puzzle toys if that's something that you have available! For cats, just let me know what they like the best and I'll gladly oblige!

Availability
My primary focus is currently school/building on trianing experience. However, I do update my holiday availability for Rover client emergencies as I am typically in the city at those times. Just message me and we'll see what we can do!
