Would not recommend this sitter for any type of animal care. The sitter only made 3-7 minute visits when I scheduled for 30, went almost two whole days without checking on my cat, and brought someone else around my home. My cat is ver social and not receiving any stimulation for almost two weeks does affect him. He was acting out by pooping all over the house. When confronting the sitter her excuse was she lives far. Speaking that I gave her the address a week in advance and before she accepted the job that is no excuse. Just because you live far doesn’t mean my cat should be neglected or not receive the proper service. It was so bad I cancelled the rest of the stay. When my friend went to check how my cat was doing there was poop stains all over the floor from neglect. I was trying to meet the sitter half way and wanted to receive the money back for the day she didn’t show up and pay her for the 3-7 mins she worked. The sitter didn’t even modify that and I had to contact Rover regarding a full refund. Speaking that there was two litter boxes to be cleaned, fresh water that needed to be filled, food to be checked, and some sort of play time , this sitter wouldn’t be able to do all of that in 3 mins. Just don’t go for this sitter. She thinks she’s doing you a favor and will not do the proper care. At the end of the day this a living animal who can’t stand up for themselves and caring for a animal shouldn’t be taken lightly. This was borderline abuse and very neglectful.
