Pet care experience
Your Precious Pet: I love animals so much that I've volunteered as a foster parent to animals waiting for their forever homes. I've had pets my entire life - until now. So, Rover gives me a needed 'dose of dogs'. Since I own my own education business, I can work around your pet's walk + play schedules. I do exercise most mornings, so I can only care for dogs that don't have huge separation anxiety (bark/whine when left home). I LOVE walking, and am happy to walk your dog. I've got a great neighborhood for it: lots of hills!
Reviews
Coco loves Sioux - we do too. Sioux is very flexible and totally trustworthy. There are very few people we would entrust our dog to and Sioux has earned that trust.
Highly recommend!
Sioux was GREAT! She watched my puppy, Piper, and gave her the best care. Piper came home really happy and tired. Sioux was a great communicator, sent me lots of photos and checked in with me. She has an amazing space where dogs can roam and play. She really loves animals and Piper liked her a lot. I will definitely book again. Thanks Sioux!
Sioux was a fantastic sitter! Her house was perfect for the dogs, she sent regular updates and was super responsive. The dogs were happy, comfortable right away in her space, and were well cared for. I highly recommend her.

Information Sioux M. would like to know about your pet
I like to know some of these: - What gets your pet's tail wagging (or, for cats, swaying)? - What concerns or frightens your pet? - How does your pet behave around other animals? If challenged by pets or people, how should I handle these interactions? - What time is your pet fed? How much chow? - Name and contact info for your preferred vet as well as emergency vet service? - Are treats okay and, if so, which types? - Nighttime: Where does your pet sleep? - If you have a dog, will it be okay with you if I bring your dog to the Sonoma Valley Regional Park or similar local nature trails? - Would your dog enjoy hopping in the car and joining me for quick errands? - How is your dog with children and adults? - Anything else you'd like me to know?
A typical day
I love walking. Nature is a balm for my soul. So, it’s fun for me to bring dogs walking. In general, I have a policy of taking 'no risks' with others' animals. So, while I love dog parks, I tend to avoid the dog park with others' animals. Instead, I walk dogs in my neighborhood (unless you have concerns about your pet’s interactions with other animals, people, etc; in this case I can exercise your dog in my backyard dog run). If it’s okay with you, I might walk your dog at the Sonoma Valley Regional Park trails or similar local nature trails. I'll check with you first. Day Care: 1. I like to wrap up my day by 530 pm. So, I appreciate pickup by 5:30 pm (but I have some flexibility - just ask). 2. My day care rates are based on a basic 9 hour day (ex: 8 am-5 pm). So, for every hour (or portion of) after an 8 hour day, I charge an additional $10/hour.

I own my own home. My backyard has a shady pergola, a swimming pool, a secure fenced perimeter, and a 30 foot dog run - dogs love this! The backyard is peaceful, quiet and allows for lots of good sniffing and exploring opportunities.
