I’m Siobhan and I love dogs, especially because of the unconditional love and loyalty they freely give. I believe all dogs should be treated with respect and integrity because they’re such special and unique creatures and as a pet sitter, I hope to give pet parents peace of mind and access to exceptional care. Dogs can enhance a person’s life beyond compare, teaching us responsibility and love. I’m a pet sitter because I value the bond I have with dogs and want to continue to have them as a part of my life. Growing up on a farm in Ireland exposed me to animals of every breed, size, and personality, especially dogs. We also cared for horses, cats, chinchillas, and other animals, but I have a soft spot in my heart for canine cuties and horses. I even brought my horse over from Ireland! Currently, I have an eight year Chihuahua of my own named Jody. She is a sweet and loving friend and is always willing to share her space and toys with doggy visitors. In addition to the personal experience I have caring for dogs, I’m also a volunteer for pet rescue shelters, helping pups find their forever homes. Owning my own business has taught me a lot about customer service and appreciation and I take that knowledge into my care of animals too! Creating a respectful and symbiotic relationship between an owner and myself is so important for the care of pups. I make sure to update owners with photo, text, and video updates of what we’ve been up to during a stay and any additional information that puts their mind at ease while they’re away from their furry loved one. I know how hard it is to be away from my own pet so these qualities are of the utmost importance to me.
