Pet care experience
I grew up with with my two family dogs and five cats, but since moving to New York, I’ve never had the opportunity to adopt my own. Pet sitting certainly brings me the same joy that owning a dog would, and while I do approach this as a fun job, I’m a very detail oriented sitter, and you can rest assured that your baby is under the best care. I’ve cared for dogs & cats with health and behavioral issues, so there isn’t much I haven’t seen or that would scare me away. Of course, we can also talk about any concerns you might have. Otherwise, I’m happy to give your pet the time of their life, before they realize they miss you.

While I have plenty of experience, I find it important I treat your pet the way you would, which might not necessarily be the way I intuitively would. (If it is, that’s even better!). You’re free to leave as detailed or loose instructions as you’d like. My standard is a lot of love and play, while maintaining a cautious eye. If there’s anything else you need, consider it done.

A typical day
Your dogs can expect treks to new parks, constantly, and lots of fun strutting around different NYC neighborhoods. I like to keep walk routes changing, because I believe stimulation is very important for pups. Depending on your comfort level, I’m also happy to go to dog parks/the beach/etc. Cat friends get whatever they want. They’re their own bosses. If it’s a lot of affection, done. If they don’t want anything more from me than a full food bowl, also done.

Availability
I work nights at a bar, and freelance the rest of my time, so my schedule is as flexible as you’d like it to be. I always have morning and afternoon availability, and most nights I can swing an early evening or late night walk.
