Call me a convert—a Rover client turned Rover sitter! My Australian shepherd Curry has had such a good experience with his sitters that I wanted to provide for other dogs and their people. I know what it’s like to be far from your pet, so I want to make the sitting experience as comfortable for you as possible. My background as an animal shelter volunteer and foster parent come in handy as a sitter. I’m also a firm believer in positive-reinforcement training. I always keep my phone with me so I can respond to your questions and concerns, and I will send you daily photos, which I know from experience are so helpful when you're away from home. Working from home lets me hang out with your dog all day and keep an eye on them. Your dog will get lots of snuggles and scratches, and will always be well-fed and watered. I know herding breeds like collies and shepherds need lots of exercise and stimulation. Not only is my dog an Australian shepherd but I grew up with shepherds, as well.
