Pet care experience
I’ve been adopting elderly animals my whole life from shelters and pet stores before they were euthanized so I’ve had a hamster (that I saved from a lizard), guinea pigs, a bearded dragon, cats and dogs. My two dogs I have back home, I’ve trained them since they were puppies and they’re super friendly and well behaved and they make people like pit bulls when they were scared before.

Simone was caring and flexible when taking care of our 3 month old pup. Puppies need full time attention and our girl is in the peak of teething but Simone was responsive, attentive, and made us feel at peace when she was teaching our pup. Thanks a lot!
Simone is a great caretake for your furry family member. Not only is she reliable, she’ll go above and beyond to ensure your dogs enjoys their time with her and are well taken care of. Where many have struggled, she was able to navigate walks with my anxious pup, (which can be quite challenging and requires patience) as well as energetic active one with ease. She comes highly recommended!
Simone is very caring and capable. She not only has experience caring for her pets but also had volunteered weekly at the animal shelter prior to receiving her dogs. Simone has participated in the professional training sessions for her dog and is a respectfully and competent dog companion. She is highly recommended without reservations.
Simone is the best! I have two, very, VERY active pittbull mixes. My girl (3-yr-old pittbull/rottie mix) has lots of anxiety and she is calm with Simone. She enjoys her walks and is always ready to go. My boy (2-yr-old American bully) is an attention hog but he has learned to share the love with his sister when Simone comes to walk them. She has a gentle but commanding presence that is clearly reassuring to both my babies. She is also prompt and dependable (even when I need her last minute). Any pup parent would be lucky to benefit from Simone’s services!

At home, I hangout with my dogs all the time, I play with them or I’ll pet them for literally hours while I’m reading or listening to music so that’s what I’d do with other dogs. Also, I miss them so much so I just want to spend time with dogs.

I need to know if they’re social and friendly or a little bit more skittish and shy. I’d like to know if I can say yes when someone asks me if they can pet the dog. What treats do they respond well to? Are they afraid of wheels like bikes and skateboards? If they are nervous, what do you suggest to calm them down? Do they need a lot of breaks for long walks or would they rather walk more?
A typical day
I’m still relatively new to DC so I really love exploring and I know dogs love exploring as well so we can explore together. I know a lot of parks in the area so we can go to parks, we can go to cafes with dog treats or we can just walk through my favorite neighborhoods.

I’m a full time student at Howard but I only have 3 in-person classes so I have a pretty open schedule. In my free time, I like to walk around and explore DC because I just moved here so I’m excited to do that with a dog.
