Pet care experience
Hi!! My name is Simone! I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life essentially and have been around them all the time. Growing up, I had a Boxer, whom we rescued from a shelter! I played collegiate volleyball in college, so I didn’t necessarily have time to take care of my own doggie, but I always helped out dog sitting or walking my friends dogs for them. I helped with friends dogs throughout college and dog sat dogs all the time, including puppies who weren’t necessarily dog trained. I currently have a smaller dog, bichon half poodle, and she is a ball of energy!! I really enjoy all types of dogs which is why I am super excited to get involved with this and so thankful there is an app out here for dog lovers like myself 🤍

Simone is wonderful. We hired her to take care of our toy poodle while we were in the hospital delivering our baby. Our dog loved her (and so did we!). She was reliable, flexible, attentive and took amazing care of our dog. She gave us updates with each visit and posted adorable pictures. We will absolutely hire her again when we need a dog sitter. We would give her more then 5 stars if we could!
Hello, I have know simone Jeffries a long time. I have been able to see Simone interact with my parents dogs, my grandmother’s dogs, and the pets of my friends, and I see her take care of her dog everyday. Simone loves animals and always goes out of her way to ensure the pets have fun and are happy. She really pays great attention to the pwts and can definitely be trusted to walk or watch anyones dog. She really deeply just loves animals more than most people.
Simone is a caring and thoughtful dog walker. She always shows up on time (or early) and is conscientious about ensuring the house is left in the same or better condition from as she found it. My pup loves going on walks with her because simone is patient and gentle. I would highly recommend her.

I prefer clients with homes which have a fence, but for the purpose of walks, that’s not entirely necessary since I live in the city! 😊

A typical day
I am a big outdoorsy person, so walking through cute parks, creeks, trails, just different scenery so the pupper doesn’t get used to the same path! They love to sniff and mark their territory, so new areas is always fun! There are a lot in northern va that are in vienna, but if not there, driving distances there are always fun ones!

Availability
I currently have a full time job - I work for a law firm! I have a hybrid working schedule, so I go into the office Wednesdays and Thursdays. I work in downtown DC and also live in DC! I have ample time and flexibility for breaks throughout the day since I work from home most of the week. Early mornings / lunch time / mid-late afternoons work well too!
