Hello! I met Winston, a long-haired Corgi puppy when I was 24. I had taken over a sublet for a woman named Janel in Chicago, and she had just adopted Winston. I cooed at his tiny legs and adorable big ears. At the time, I was a student and she had asked me to watch him sometimes during the week, and when she went on vacation. Winston and I spent a lot of time playing, going for walks on the beach, and relaxing. Janel later moved to a suburb and I hadn't seen Winston for about 4 years. One day we ran into each other at a friend's barbecue. Winston noticed me and he ran over to me, making happy noises with his tail wagging. Janel said she never heard him make that noise before. He wouldn't leave my side for the rest of the evening. I love animals, and care so much that they're happy and feel safe. I like to play with them if they're playful, relax with them if they're more laid back, or do a combination of both. A happy animal truly makes me happy. Befriending them and creating a mutual trust is very meaningful to me. I grew up with dogs, cats, and ferrets. I want to provide a safe and pleasant experience. I just moved back to Milwaukee after living in Chicago. I worked in marketing for luxury cars but would prefer more time to be in nature, explore the city through walking, do art, garden, and enjoy a more slow paced life.
