Pet care experience
Hi there. My name is Simon and I want to help make happy animals! In my household we currently have a 5 year old Golden Retriever (Harvey), a 4 year old domestic short-haired/Bengal cat (Tyler), a 1 year old Beagle (Arlo). In the past I have also owned and cared for a deaf American Staffordshire Terrier as well as a diabetic cat, so am pretty familiar with the care of animals who need a little more or slightly different attention. I work from home, so it's easy for me to carve out time in the day to give your pupper a chance to get outside, stretch their legs and smell some smells. A "typical" visit will include a one mile walk, feeding as outlined, making sure they have a bowl of cool, fresh water, plenty of scratches behind the ears and belly rubs and probably a treat or two (assuming that's allowed). I'll also be sure to send along a picture or two of your doggo, so you can rest easy knowing they're getting well cared for. I also love cats and am happy to provide care an attention to any feline housemates. That includes feeding, watering, emptying the litter box and of course treats! Pets make great companions, and I want to make sure that we're giving them the same amount of love and support that they give us. I know that's not always easy to do in today's hectic world, so I would like to help out!
Reviews
Simon was very accommodating when I had to change my cat's feeding time/day. He was prompt in responding, and did everything I asked him to do—plus he actually got a photo of my bashful cat so I could see him on my phone.
Simon is great! He has been walking out fur baby for a couple of weeks now and we could not be more thankful and relieved knowing he is getting his afternoon walk while we are at work. Love the updates and pictures. Thanks so much for everything, Simon!
Simon is an enthusiastic and caring dog person. He has handled older dogs as well as young pups and does it all with care and attention.
If you are in need of a pet sitter that will walk your dogs, or look after them while you are out of town, I would highly recommend Simon. It is obvious that he is a pet-lover. The first time he met my dogs he treated them like they were his own. He has a calm demeanor which put the dogs at ease right away. He will go above and beyond spending time with the pups from walks to play time to scratches behind the ears! He is extremely good with dogs (cats and guinea pigs) so if you are in need of someone, Simon is your guy!

My goal is to offer continuity of routine for your pet, so they feel comfortable. I try to stick to a small selection of walking routes for doggos and make sure all your furry family members feel safe and secure at their house.
Information Simon T. would like to know about your pet
General behavioral information (very active, prefers short walks) Specific favorite toys or games Preferred sequence of activities (i.e. eat first or walk first) How they generally interact with other dogs or any animals we might meet on our walk.
A typical day
For walks I like to do a 2x2x2x2 block walk (which ends up being about a mile). With my doggos we rotate setting off North, East, South, West so we get to see a different part of the neighborhood on each walk.

Availability
I work from home most days, so can make myself available based on your needs. The goal is to keep your pets stress level as low as possible, and sticking to their routine is a big part of that.
