Pet care experience
I recently had to say goodbye to my 13.5 yo black lab. He was my bestie 🖤. Him and I found each other when I was 23, and I miss him so much! We were inseparable - and he went everywhere with me - esp road trips and weekend hikes. The house feels weird without him, and I would love to be able to help care for others dogs.

I have known Sima for nearly two decades, and she has always been a biggest nurturer, care-taker and lover of dogs! I have seen her take care of her own dog and her friends'/family's dogs, where she treats each one with the same strong love and care. She is responsible and reliable, plus her dog knowledge makes her a great fit as a dog caregiver. Sima loves to see after dogs, and she is extremely solutions-oriented and idea-driven to help your fur-baby through any tough situation or problem. I am a huge dog lover and enthusiast who has known Sima and her family for over 5 years. During that time I fell in love with her lab Juno who was a calm, well behaved labrador that she owned from puppy hood until he crossed the rainbow bridge at 13.5. Juno was good with kids (including his baby sister), other dogs and had great recall while hiking off leash. I can attest that Juno's demeanor and training came from Sima's years of attentiveness, love and socialization. Juno was able to experience outdoor adventures with hiking, camping and swimming in any open body of water he could find. He also loved his daily walks around town, dog friendly parks and time with his doggie friends at daycare. All without incident or issue. I would recommend Sima for Rover, as I know your dog would be in responsible and loving hands the entire time.

It’s important to know if your dog is not safe to be around small children, or has behavioral issues you are working on. I have a 3 yo. If your dog is difficult to walk, I’ll need to know that also.
A typical day
We live walkable to the beach and a few minute walk to a park - where your pup can play fetch or take a nice walk along the trail. We also live across the street from a dog park, if they prefer to zoom-it-out arena / monster truck style.

Availability
I work from home 100% and have no schedule restrictions. I leave the house minimally and can take your dog out for a walk at any point. We live near tons of parks, dog parks, trails and greenery, so getting to a spot for your doggie to run around - is no problem. We also have a nice patio, where they can relax in our outdoor all day (we keep the door open).. my old dog would have full access to go in or out.
