Pet care experience
I have been a pet lover since I was a kid. I’m originally from Brazil and when I was younger my house was always full of exotic pets -- from birds, cats and even lambs. But dogs will be always my favorite and that’s why I want to work with Rover. Nothing quite compares to a pup’s unconditional love, loyalty and friendship. They bring so much joy and happiness in our lives, I couldn’t be happier to have a job where I get to spend time with dogs! I have cared for my pets as well as friend’s and family’s pets. For the last three years I also have volunteered at the Animal Foundation in Las Vegas where I provide walks, playtime and companion for the shelter’s dogs. I also have three little dogs of my own! They are two Yorkie girls, Coco and Chanel, (3 and 2 ½ years old) and Brownie, a Terrier Mix, who is six years old. They are all very playful and friendly, especially Coco who just can’t get enough of playing ball, while Brownie tends to be a little shyer. If you also need any help caring for any exotic animals -- birds, fish or bunnies -- I am happy to help care for them as well. I like to take my dogs to one of the two parks Summerlin: All American Park is the most beautiful park I have seen in Vegas, and it’s very clean and well maintained (the grass looks like a carpet, always!) and Kellogg Zaher Soccer Complex has a fantastic trail and grassy area. I am caring, responsible and professional and I believe everyone should be treated with love and respect -- that includes pets too! I always keep owners up-to-date on their pet’s routine and will send pictures of our time together too. I like to cook healthy homemade food for my dogs and give them healthy treats such veggies and fruits and organic GMO-free baked treats -- I would want any owner to let me know if it is all right for their dog to enjoy this type of food and snacks as well. I am currently offering one free bath when two or more overnight stays are booked and new clients will receive free basic training and tricks, and one free bath for their dog, when they book monthly day care.

Silvia is a very kind, sweet, and competent person. She is very diligent in taking care of things in an efficient manner. She managed to help care for my five cats and dog and I never had any concern for their welfare. Silvia is a happy person, which always helps when dealing with animals who are sensitive to personalities. I would highly recommend her as someone who will care about you and your very special pet family.

I have known Silvia for over 5years now. She is very good with dogs as far as i know. Pets are literally babies to Silvia she takes outstanding care of the little fuzzy cuties. I'm impressed by Silvia's professionalism, and her genuine love for animals. Silvia goes way above and beyond what is expected! She is very concerned about her dogs diet that she actually cooks for them making the right choices such as organic foods only! I can assure you that your pets are in excellent hands with Silvia.

I would like to know what type of treats are permitted, what your dog’s sleeping preferences are, their favorite activities and whether or not they use a crate. I would like to know if your pet has been boarded previously and if they get aggressive or protective over food or belongings. I don’t have any breed preferences, but I do prefer small to medium dogs. I also have insurance coverage for the pets. Other requirements I have for boarding and daycare include: Dog(s) must not be aggressive Up-to-date on vaccines Must wear a collar with current contact information Needs to be housebroken (excluding puppies) A complete and accurate pet profile on Rover.com, including veterinarian contact information, food and medication instructions, emergency contact and any allergy information Does your pet have any health issues? Does your dog has any special needs or care requirements? Does your pet take medications? How are they administered?
A typical day
I walk my dogs twice a day, in the morning and evening. We like to go to one of the two beautiful 2 parks -- All American Park of the Kellogg Zaher Soccer Complex -- which are near my home. My dogs also love to go for car rides, so we also go on hikes at Red Rock Canyon National Park or Mountain Charleston. Every morning your pup will be greeted with lots of hugs and kisses before we had out for our first walk. After that, we’ll have some breakfast, play in the backyard and then chill out inside the house. After dinner, we’ll take another walk and have some playtime if your pup still has energy to burn!
