When I was sixteen, my older sister let me intern with her at the animal hospital she works at, and I learned all the "tricks of the trade"- learning how to read an pet's body language, how to best care for all species, and excellent communication skills with fur-mamas and papas! Being away from your fur-baby is one of the most stressful things about going away for an otherwise relaxing vacation, and my goal over the last two years was to refine my skills and schedule to care for my client's fur-kids at an optimal level - making the whole family feel at peace.
