Pet care experience
Extensive Experience: From Blue Cross kennels to dog groomers, I've worked with all temperaments and sizes From Chihuahua to Great Dane. Specialized Skills: I am an entomologist postgraduate so I also have ID skills of pests and bugs that can affect pets. My degrees also provided knowledge and skills for competence in identifying Pathogens such as nematodes, diseases and pests affecting our pets which I think is very useful to know these things! Academic Background: Lvl 3 in Animal management covered animal nutrition behaviour, welfare and nursing basics | BSc Hons Zoology degree furthered my knowledge in understanding animal physiology, behaviour, welfare and the diseases and pathogens | MSc in IPM enabled me to specialise in ID skills of Insects but all these qualifications highlight my dedication to understanding animal behavior (across all species of animal) and care to ensure they are always understood Personal interests: I am an avid reader , spending time at Cafes or parks to read. I also am a rambler, I enjoy taking walks in the country, stretch my legs watching birds and looking at Fungi and all things around us and take in the scenery of Suffolk, but I also enjoy walking round the towns and high streets in the area. So to have a set of 4 paws beside me for comparny would make that all the better ! 🐾

Good updates on my cat other than a couple of days not giving details of whether they ate their food or not. Brilliant to have Sigourney visit & spend half hour with Juni so that she didn't feel quite so abandoned.
Sigourney has walked my beloved dog Lewis several times before he passed away. She is very caring and loves dogs. She made sure he always had a good run about and plenty of attention when out on a walk.

I therefore offer personalised care to each individual as each animal has a different personality and different needs. In addition to this, I aim to prioritise their individual well-being and aim to make them feel loved and secure while in my care at their home environment or out and about 🐾

I would encourage owners to call me / video call or even meet in person if preferred, ahead of a visit/booking and can then discuss what special needs a pet has or any specific routines etc required as I feel this would be beneficial for all parties
A typical day
A typical day would be fit around the care instructions from the owner and the pets needs and personality but will aim to engage pets in a variety of fun activities tailored to their preferences and ability (special needs etc). This may include interactive play with toys, enjoyable walks in different environments, stimulating mental games, and- if suitable, social interactions with other pets if requested to encourage or will be avoided if owner wants to avoid this. I aim to always ensure a mix of physical exercise and mental stimulation
