Love ALL Fur Babies!

Pet care experience

Hello! My name is Sierra, I have a 14 year old mini-poodle, who is my best little buddy, and a 5 year old Aussie who loves to hike. They get along well with other pups and I work from home. We hang out during the work day and hike in the afternoons. I also grew up with cats and have two bunnies, so I’m very comfortable taking care of all kinds of pets. I watch fur babes as a side hustle because it allows me to spend time outdoors with active dogs and/or allows my dogs to make some new friends. I am a full time Technical Project Manager and am very detail oriented, responsible, organized, and great at time management. You can trust me to take care of your fur baby just like I would take care of mine (and the same with your home).

This was our first time using Rover for our dog Juniper and Sierra made sure it was such a positive experience. Sierra stayed with Juniper in our house and we got regular updates throughout our time away of the fun things they were up to. It was such a relief to know that our dog was happy and safe. I would recommend and book Sierra again in a heartbeat!

Sierra is the best. Knowing our pups are with her I am able to totally enjoy being on vacation.

Sierra was awesome! We couldn't have asked for a better person to watch our big noisy but cuddly Malamute that can be a little intimidating to people that don't know him. She was constantly tiring him out with hikes or trips to the dog park and treated him just like one of the family. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend or use her again in the future at all!

Safety, trust & environment

I have a fully fenced in yard and a small community dog park right next to my house. So, I can host pets at my place (as long as everyone gets along during the meet n greet). I can also stop in and visit pets in their houses. I have a lot of experience taking care of cats, bunnies, and dogs.

Information Sierra V. would like to know about your pet

I do not have any breed preferences. If a fur babe is staying at my house, I just require a meet n greet to make sure that my pups will get along. I do like to know what a dog is motivated by and if they get along with other dogs/humans.

A typical day

I am an active person and short stays with me would include trips to Tanner dog park, trail runs at Dimple Dell, hikes in Mill Creek, or walks along the Pipeline. Longer stays with me could include sidecountry ski tours, snowshoeing, and biking if my furry friend is up for it.

Availability

I work from home and have a flexible schedule. I often hike or go for trail runs in the afternoons. During Winter, I backcountry ski and snowshoe and I find areas where I can bring my dogs. I can flex my schedule to check in on pets midday or host then at my house while I work from home. I have a fenced in yard and a little park next to my house.
