Pet care experience
I absolutely love taking care of dogs around my neighborhood when needed! This can range from taking them on walks and even giving them those pesky baths that most hate. I have a husky and a lab so I am experienced with high energy dogs who need more exercise than others. However, we also own a yorkie who is more of a lounge dog, so I am versatile when it comes to the breed of dog. I volunteered at an animal shelter walking dogs until I moved up here to Springfield a couple years ago. I decided I would officially jump into things by using this app.

Sierra did a wonderful job with our dog Jet. Jet is a Siberian Husky that is a high energy dog and requires lots of attention. Sierra was very attentive, took Jet on walks, played ball and even was working on new tricks with him. She is an awesome dog sitter, dependable and very trustworthy.

At home, I have a gated in fence that allows enough room for the dog to play. I live in a safe neighborhood, so walking your dog will never be a problem. I always check the weather to make sure it’s safe enough to take the dogs out to play. I always ask if you have an emergency vet to leave the number in case of emergencies because you can never be too safe.

Let me know if the dog has any special needs that they need attended to. I am comfortable with giving your pets medicine if needed. I would also love to know if your dog has any dislikes and/or behavioral issues (ex: anxiety, potty issues, etc)
A typical day
I would love to provide physical activities for your dog! Nice walks when it’s not too hot so they can sniff all the new scents and feel comfortable around their surroundings. If they love car rides, I would love to take them to a small park to play fetch or to simply roll around in the grass. I always take water with me to the park for the dogs.

I’m part-time but I prefer to work my schedule around the times I’m needed. I prefer interacting with dogs more than my own work schedule. :)
