Pet care experience
I've had dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, and I've always helped take care of my own and other peoples' in the neighborhood. I previously worked at Bar K in Kansas City as a dogtender, where I received training and have experience with many different breeds of dogs, as well as behaviors that might arise. As a pet owner myself, I know that it can be nerve-wracking to leave pets in the care of others, so I am here to make pet owners, and pets, as comfortable, happy, and safe as possible! I currently work at an elementary school, so I am available in the early morning, evening, and weekends for sitting, walks, potty breaks and whatever else might be needed. I currently live in an apartment with one dog. She is an Australian Cattle Dog who loves children, dogs, and cats. We are a very active pair - always on walks, runs, and trips to the dog park.

Sierra is so kind and so helpful with my cat! She always sends pictures and he looks so happy to be cuddling with her. Her communication is amazing and is very easy to schedule with. I’ve used her twice now and plan to whenever I need help when I’m away!
Sierra stopped by and walked and fed my dog over the weekend. She was great and gave me updates each time! We will definitely use her again.

I need to know if they have any special triggers, such as seeing other dogs on walks or being approached by people. I would also like to know how they interact with other dogs in general, at home or at the dog park. Please share how you feel they are on the leash, and if there are any other special tricks, commands, etc. you use to help them be successful in those regards. Also, any allergies or special diet restrictions for overnight visits. You can also share their favorite place for scritches, their favorite snack, and any other favorites they might have. If you want us to practice tricks, provide a list of tricks they know.
A typical day
I have a small dog park less than a half mile from my apartment. My dog loves practicing tricks and getting treats out of fun feeders or rolled up blankets for a little extra mental stimulation. I also live near the Country Club Plaza which is fun for walking dogs as well.
