Pet care experience
While I am new to Rover, I'm not new to caring for animals. I've been caring for pets since I was 12 years old. I first started out by walking dogs in my neighborhood. I later went on to volunteer for the French Bulldog Rescue Network where I provided care packages, transportation and helped care for many foster dogs over the years. My mother has two 13-year-old French Bulldogs (one of which was a foster we ended up adopting ourselves) and I've helped care for them for most of their lives. Maintaining my client's trust is very important to me, so I always follow any instructions given to a T and send photos and updates each day. I have many repeat clients and treat every fur baby as if they were my own. I absolutely adore animals and feel very blessed that my life allows me the flexibility to be able to provide great care for them.
Reviews
Sierra was great! She sent many pictures and made sure to give me updates often, and she made sure my dog felt at home which is really important to me. My dog came back very happy and well taken care of. Thank you Sierra!
Sierra was wonderful. This was our first time using Rover for a dog sitter and she did a great job. We left both dogs for 9 nights. She was quick to respond and sent pictures and updates throughout the week. We can’t wait to book again.
Was very accommodating to Koda and was responsive when I had questions. Very nice and Koda seemed like he had a great time. Sent pictures while I was away. I was admittedly nervous since this was his first time staying with someone new and he is an energetic dog. Sierra was reassuring and immediately made me feel comfortable leaving Koda with her.
Kept us to date with pictures and how our dog was doing. Thanks Sierra.

I have a fully fenced in backyard that makes it very easy for me to make sure pups are getting enough time outside to explore and exercise. I do potty breaks every 2-3 hours or so throughout the day from 8am-9pm or so, and one potty break in the middle of the night. I aim for two walks a day unless given different instructions, I make sure to walk during times of the day when it's not too warm out as I know how detrimental the Florida heat can be to heat-intolerant dogs. I follow all care instructions and feel comfortable giving medications, including administering injectables. I have lots of experience caring for pets with separation anxiety. All pets are allowed on all furniture inside my home, including my bed (which is where many of them like to sleep). I don't use crates unless instructed and use baby gates to separate dogs in different rooms for feeding, relaxing, etc. vs. closing doors. All of the areas of the home available to the pets are pup proofed for their safety.

Information Sierra R. would like to know about your pet
How is your dog around other dogs/children? Where do they typically sleep? Have they ever displayed signs of anxiety, biting, excessive barking, marking, or aggression? Are there any accommodations I might need to make to make your pet more comfortable? I'm available to do pickups and drop offs between 8:30am-7pm. Anything outside of these hours will incur an additional fee of $10.
A typical day
I do lots of fetch in my fenced in backyard and have lots of fun toys to promote enrichment. I take frequent breaks during my workday for tug-of-war, belly rubs, and outside time. I do walks around my neighborhood and aim for times when it's cooler outside.

Availability
I work from home and have a flexible schedule which allows me to provide lots of walks, frequent potty breaks and lots of time for play. Pups are very rarely left unsupervised in my home, and if they are it's for a short period of time (less than two hours).
