I love animals and pet sitting is one of my favorite things to do. I know it can be stressful for a lot of pups to be in a new environment and spending time with a new face, which is why I am available for sitting at your home. When I’m caring for dogs, my main priority is to keep them calm, happy and safe while you’re away. I experience with dogs, including my own, and I’ve volunteered at an animal shelter and dog training facility. I was a veterinary technician for about 6 years, so I have professional medical experience with dogs & cats as well and can spot when they’re not feeling their best. I’m currently working on my biology degree at UCF to go into zoo keeping and I also trained my own service dog (advanced obedience and advanced behaviors/skills/tasks, and have gotten into basic dog training with other people’s dogs as well, which I also offer as a service as well! One of my favorite things about dogs is how loving and friendly they are. I have a medium sized fenced in yard that provides tons of room for playing with the benefit of being able to get immediately into shade/air conditioning if it becomes too hot outside. and can providing long sniffy walks is never a problem! I consider myself to be passionate about animal training, enrichment, and education. I love taking care of animals and most of all I love to have fun -- and if there’s one thing I know a dog loves, it’s having fun (and getting lots of treats)! Treats and love are the quickest way to a dog’s heart and I always have a lot of both! Once a dog has warmed up to me it’s easy for me to build a bond with them keep because they are more comfortable with me and their environment. Being able to interact with new dogs and get them to become comfortable with me can be a challenge with timid dogs, but I have a lot of patience and know how to take things as slow as the dog needs. I keep the canine clients happy and healthy while keeping the human clients updated on the status of their pets.
