Pet care experience
Ive cared for many animals of many kinds since about 12 years old. I’m26 now,and have found my closest connection of all animals is with with the dogs.I began my journey to becoming a dog groomer in January of 2019, since then I have done a combination of pet sitting, nannying and dog grooming. I love to groom however am looking to get more into pet sitting and dog walking as I feel it will allow me to connect with the dogs on a deeper level that I at times don’t have time to do with the fast paced industry of grooming it also allows me to get some outside time which I’m big on! I am CPR certified for canines with pet tech, my specialty as a groomer was senior pets so I’m not shy about looking after our older kiddos at all!

Sierra has been my dog-sitter for more than a year. My little dog could be described as "high maintenance" but he loves going to Sierra's. When we pull into her parking area, he starts wagging his tail and getting excited. When I pick him up (whether it's an overnight stay or a week) he's happy. Sierra will send me pictures of my dog when I'm far away and missing him. Sierra's turnaround with communication is always timely. I'm thankful we found her.

I live in a quiet tucked back community that is very low traffic, there are lots of grassy paths through out the neighborhood , I offer oodles of dog toys and am big on disinfecting to prevent any spread of illness to keep our loved ones safe at all times I am CPR certified with pet tech for canines however I am also located 14 minutes from a 24 hour vet in case of any emergency’s, I have cameras in the home as well so that pets can be monitored from my phone at all the times if multiple dogs are in the home or if they choose to take a snooze in any other rooms:) I have a 6 year old neutered male golden(Floyd) that is especially fond of smaller dogs and lady dogs though he gets along with most dogs. In the event your dog does not prefer other dogs Floyd has lots of family that he loves to go visit so that your pup can have the one on one needed.

Please be sure to let me know of any past medical history, no matter how small it may seem (ie dog fights,scratches,falls,bumps,chewing, infections, treatments[⚠️chemo is the most important of all of these,even if treatment has been recently discontinued as the chemicals can be transmitted through bodily fluids. This is to prevent contamination of the safety of animals within my care] arthritis, unknown concerns etc.) at times certain details can seem insignificant, but these are the details that help me to provide the safest possible care and can prevent further health issues,and potentially save a pets life.Please be sure to also notify me of any aggression no matter how small( ie toy aggression,food aggression, ground aggression, etc.)particular areas of aggression are not an issue to me however I do need to be notified to add it to the pets profile. I only accept potty trained pets and do not accept excessive barkers as I live in a town house and along side pet care it is a top priority to respect my community. I make thorough profiles for each dog within my care so please don’t hesitate to let me know any details you feel are special to your companion(s).
A typical day
I’m very active with outdoor activities my dog and I are big campers/hikers so I’m always looking to take long walks. Doing that with a dog by your side is all the better. I live in a calm neighborhood with very low traffic that is lovely to walk in I have plenty of dog toys to share however always accommodate for the largest dog in my care to prevent any choking risks, toys are always disinfected between dogs. For the pups that love to lounge I leave the tv on, I have 3 big couches, 3 big dog beds and have no problem with pups in my own bed (though I offer a large crate for those that crate for bedtime)

Availability
At the moment my schedule is open seven days a week however I am looking to find a salon to work three days so will be dropping my window of dog walking/house sitting or drop ins to four days a week sometime in mid-late April.
