I do work full time so I have to schedule my pet sitting requests around that. I have experience as a dog groomer and hold a Bachelor of Animal Science from ISU where I completed various coursework on animal behavior, nutrition, health, and training. I am well-versed in caring for dogs, cats, birds, various farm animals, rodents, and reptiles. With a lifelong passion for animals, I have always had pets and have been trusted to pet sit for family members since middle school. Currently I work at a humane society where I provide care for the animals. I am Cat & Dog First Aid certified through the Red Cross and am an AKC S.A.F.E. certified groomer. I have hands-on experience with dogs and cats of all ages and temperaments.

Sierra is awesome! My dogs love her! Also, my girls are very small and they are senior dogs. Sierra seems to treat them with care. I have hired Sierra twice and will gladly do so again.

If a dog prefers social interaction, we may join a doggy playgroup for some supervised playtime with furry friends. During the day, I'll ensure they have access to fresh water and a comfortable resting area. For dogs who enjoy mental stimulation, I'll incorporate puzzle toys or obedience training sessions. If a dog has a favorite toy or game, I'll make sure to include that in our playtime to keep them entertained and happy. Throughout the day, I'll provide affection, ensuring each dog feels loved and secure. I'll also administer any necessary medications if required, following the owner's instructions diligently and feed each pet considering their dietary needs and any specific instructions provided by the owner.
