Pet care experience
I've been working as a pet caretaker since December 2020, and my last day will be May 26. I will be moving to a new area and furthering my studies towards becoming a veterinarian, thank you to all my clients! I have experience with a variety of dogs and cats, thanks to the clients I work with and my experience in humane societies. I have gathered experience with a variety of dog breeds. I grew up with multiple dogs and cats, and currently have three cats, named Ali, Cheddar, and Copper. I also have a bearded dragon (Squirt). I work very well with timid or scared animals due to years of work in animal rescues. Hours spent on socializing cats, cleaning, dog walking, and more has built my skills. I’m not afraid to clean a mess up or administer meds. I have previous personal experience with lizards, fish, ferrets, hamsters. rabbit and gerbils. Through my clients I have gained experience with birds, chicken and Quail. I can take care of your dogs, cats or any other household pets.

When I house sit, I can work with your pets preference and typical schedule. Typically I would stay overnight at your home, and can follow your pets wake up/bedtime schedule. My schedule typically has me checking on pets in the morning and in the evening, if I’m not checking on other pets then I will be at your place. I appreciate staying at a home with a bed (clean sheets), clean towels, laundry machine, wi-fi is a must, and clear instructions about unique house rules/management. I am there to take care of your pet, I will clean up after myself and keep things in order.

Let me know the energy level and stress levels so I can understand your pet better. Is there a routine to follow or daily exercise routine? For dog walking, I like to be set up with their personal leash and harness/collar and aware of triggers during walks. I like to know the dogs purpose for a walk (sniffing, exercise, potty break, etc.) so I can give the dog what they need. I have experience with dogs that pull the leash, but if the dog becomes to difficult to control I may have an issue.
A typical day
I love to play with your pets and give them lots of love. I am very patient and durable, so I can handle biting/learning not to bite. I can also work with seniors to administer medications as needed. I have experience with pills, fluids, transdermal, insulin, etc. If you don’t mind me taking your dog on a hike or to a dog park, I can do that!

I’m currently taking care of cute animals, and working towards veterinary school. I am pausing with school work until I move to a 4 year college in May. So I have lots of time to spend with your pets.
