I grew up surrounded by rescued animals of all kinds: dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, etc. As a result I have been caring for animals for a very long time, and treat them with the utmost love and respect.

Sierra was great! She was on time, professional, caring and followed directions well. She sent us pictures of our dog during her visits and when we had to cancel our trip early, she was very accommodating. Would definitely recommend Sierra, and we’ll be working with her again in the future!

When your furry companions are not dogs or cats, using Rover to find a caregiver can be very challenging. It means you have to read many profiles in hopes that one of them mentions rabbits! By good fortune, Sierra's profile was one that did! She cared for my two bunnies for 4 days and did a fantastic job! Even though one of them was a senior with special needs. You can't remember to cover every detail in a meet so having a caregiver that takes the time to read long notes that include reminders, requests and suggestions, is paramount. All my requests were acknowledged and performed well. I have a monitoring camera so I can keep an eye on the boys when the sitter is not there and if there is an emergency I can contact her to help out! Each time I watched a video clip or a live view I was comforted by how well the buns looked! Peace of mind is what we need when we have to be away from our companions and Sierra certainly gave me that. She is at the top of my list!

I have a fenced in yard for overnight visitors, and spend most of my time outside so they will get lots of playtime. Overnight visitors must be good with cats, as I have one of my own that is up to date with flea treatments and vaccinations. Whether it be walking, an overnight, or a home visit all animals recieve lots of love and attention!

Please let me know if certain things make your pet uncomfortable or aggressive (i.e. if they don’t like their feet touched for cleaning, or if I am taking them for a walk if they don’t get along with a neighbor dog).
A typical day
On drop in visits I typically play with dogs outside for most of the visit including running, fetch, etc. and pet cats or other inside furry friends.

I recently began substitute teaching so my availability has changed a bit. I am still taking bookings, but typically not during the day (8-2) on weekdays. Some weeks this may not be the case, always feel free to send in a request!
