Pet care experience
Hello! I’m Sierra. It's been awhile since I've pet sit through Rover, and I decided to reactivate my profile as I relocate to Watauga county for graduate school. I have always grown up with pets as a part of the family- dogs, cats, turtles, bunnies, sand crabs, etc. I enjoy being out with dogs on walks and hikes or just cuddling with them at home and any other members of the animal family. I especially love cats!
Reviews
I had to leave one of my two dogs behind for a one week trip and was feeling very guilty about it, and wanted to find the best possible sitter for him. I'm so thrilled I found Sierra! I could tell immediately after meeting her that she was a warm, compassionate person and that she would provide him with the comfort and affection that he would need, and that I needed him to have. If you talk to her you'll immediately sense her trustworthiness and gentle, positive energy. Everything with the trip went perfectly. I was a bit annoyed and jealous that when she departed the house my dog tried to go with her, but that's forgivable. ;)
If I could give Sierra a 10 star rating I would. Sierra took wonderful care of my cat, Mr. Brown. She sent several photos of him throughout the week I was gone. I trust her fully!
Sierra was terrific. She took great care of my 2 cats while I was out on business for 2 weeks. I would recommend Sierra for anyone needing pet care!
Sierra was a fabulous house, dog, cat, and fish sitter! We were gone for three weeks and she did a wonderful job. Throughout our trip, she communicated with us and sent cute pictures of our animals. We came home to an incredibly clean house - and she was even thoughtful by putting some perishable things in the freezer so they didn't go bad. I would highly recommend that anyone use Sierra to take care of their pets and home for their next vacation!

I am receptive to any and all information you have for me about caring for your pets and home. Including meal times, walks and specific needs. Let me know if you have any plant/yard care needs as well.
A typical day
I love being with animals, hanging with curious cats, walking with dogs, tending to plants. Each animal is different and a typical day depends on what pets you have and what they like to do. *I am currently in grad school. I will spend time with your pets in the morning, afternoons and evenings, and I will take daily walks with your pet. Most Mondays and Tuesdays I will be away at class for a few hours. Every other week my Tuesdays are virtual, so I may be home all day. Wednesday I work from home and can be with your pet fully that day. Thursdays and Fridays I work at a school 8a-3p. Saturday and Sunday I can typically be home at least half if not the whole day. *Note: I include dog walks as a part of house sitting, no extra fee. The dog walking fee listed above refers to dog walking as a stand-alone service, not as part of a house sitting service.
