Pet care experience
I have such an indescribable passion for animals, but dogs especially. I have three large dogs at home, all ranging in breed and age, and all of which I have rescued. I currently work at a dog daycare and boarding facility so I have a strong foundation when it comes to all aspects of an animal's needs. I have also been a basic obedience dog trainer for the past two years. Everything I do is positive treat reward based and relies solely on patience and consistency. They are such an important part of our families and should be treated with the utmost love and compassion. I would love to help alleviate your worry of being away and leaving your pets at home! Siera has a true compassion, patients, and love for all dogs. I have personally seen her care for many dogs and she never lets even a small detail go unnoticed. She always strives to care for other peoples dogs the way she would care for her own. I have trusted Siera with my own dogs for the past year and I have never been happier with a pet sitter. I have worked with Siera for over a year at a facility that cares for dogs and I can say with complete confidence that there is nothing she won't do when it comes to meeting a dog's needs. She opens her heart and shows compassion to every single dog she meets. I cannot recall one instance where she did not go above and beyond the call of duty to assist a dog where necessary and bring them the most comfort possible. She can be assertive if necessary but above all she is loving, attentive, patient, proactive and very reliable. Siera is one of the hardest workers I have ever had the privilege of knowing and always gives 100% of herself to the job. Without hesitation, I would trust her to care for my two dogs, knowing that they would be in fantastic hands.

A typical day
Every dog is different therefor every experience should be based on their comfort levels. I personally have a reactive dog and understand the struggles for those who want to fulfill their dogs needs to play and have fun but struggle with the reality of the situation, so for such situations we would go for long walks and work on simple aspects of re-activeness such as exposure therapy, just allowing your dog to be in the general vicinity of other animals, not necessarily requiring contact. For those dogs who are social dog parks are always fun, I am used to being in "pack settings" with 40+dogs at a time large and small so I am aware of what is safe and unsafe play for all involved. Long walks and hikes through parks, playing with toys, swimming etc. are all options It all depends on the family, the dogs, and the surrounding environment, but safe, facilitated fun is always the goal!
