Pet care experience
I've been around animals my whole life, from dogs, to cats, to rabbits, to hamsters, and those are just the ones that grew up in my house! My family, employers, and friends have relied on me to care for their animals for as long as I could remember. I also have cared for many family pets in my 5+ years of being a nanny/family-assistant. I, along with my sisters, were solely in charge of the feeding, walking, and bathing of our pets growing up. I have the most experience with my two family German Shepherds. We've had them since they were 8 weeks old and my dad and I would take them to training together three days a week for years! I now have a one year old pup of my own who is my world. We do regular training, walks, at home grooming, socializing, and puppy dates. When your dog is in my care, they're family!

Sienna was so great! She took really good care of my cats while I was away. I felt better knowing she was making sure they were well fed, safe and had some company in my absence. I would definitely recommend her to anyone in need of a cat sitter.
Sienna was fabulous! She checked in my two cats, played with them, and gave me a lot of peace of mind knowing they were being cared for so well. She included pictures and great descriptions of her visits. Highly recommend!

I am very cautious and loving with every pet I encounter. I treat each pet and each home as if it were my own. I abide by the owners rules put in place and would never put the pet or the home in harms way. While on walks, I am cautious of my surroundings and avoid any signs of trouble. My grasp on the leash is firm and I will never get too comfortable or trusting with a pet and let them out of my sight/grip. When I am in your home I will make sure doors are closed behind me and all caution is used.

It is important to inform me of any special needs of your pet or triggers to be aware of while they are in my care. If your dog is notorious for escaping their harness or running away when you try to put it on, this would be good to know as well. Any special tricks you use to get your pup to do something they're typically stubborn about would be great to know ahead of time too!
A typical day
I love to make each walk an adventure for the dog. I would never dream of rushing a sniff break! I am a firm believer of stimulating a dog both physically and mentally because if you do not do both, you will be stuck with a rowdy pup! I do this by playing training games like "touch" or "red light-green light" while on walks, a 5-10 minute training session before/after the walk, and allowing the dog to smell new and safe spots throughout the walk. I like to walk through parks, gardens, or other nature heavy areas around the neighborhood.

I work a hybrid schedule that is flexible and slow paced. This gives me time to care for pets and give them the love and attention they deserve while you're away!
