Communicative Neighbor/Animal Lover
Pet care experience
I grew up caring for a house full of pets and know all the responsibilities and joys that come with that! I have experience caring for senior and special needs dogs and cats. I have house sat/pet sat for extended periods with owners out of state/abroad (15 days being my longest). I've also cared for a reactive dog, so I understand the precautions to take with your not-so-dog-friendly pups!
Reviews
This is the second time we’ve used Sienna to pet sit our Aussie and we hope she is available the next time we need a sitter. Our dog loves her! Leaves our house clean and tidy.
Great sitter! Hope to use again.
We are so grateful for Siena - she treats our dog and our home like her own. After we left him with her for a week we came home to a very happy, cared for and loved pup and a spotless house.
Attentive, smart, communicative house/pet sitter. She looked after our 80 lb. 10 year old lab mix while we were away for the weekend and did a lovely job. Regular reports and pix. Great job!

Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
If you prefer someone who errs toward very frequent communication, I might be a good fit! I can accommodate whatever communication request makes you feel most secure about your fur baby's welfare -- I understand the anxiety of leaving your pets with a new caregiver and want to ease your worries in whatever way I can. Growing up with and taking care of high-need, older dogs and cats means I understand the importance of routine and detail. My experience with house-sitting while pet-sitting means I know there's a lot of moving pieces to keep track of and I'm well-prepared to ensure everything is cared for. Since I am fully remote, I have the time and flexibility to be present for any needs your pet may have while remaining vigilant to any home issues that may crop up.
Information Siena R. would like to know about your pet
More information is always better in my opinion. I take pride in paying attention to the details, so please share as much as you feel comfortable with. For house-sitting, it will be ideal to schedule some time ahead of your trip to meet your pet and learn about their routine, quirks, tendencies, and preferences. I'd also want to walk through house expectations and responsibilities to get a clear idea of what is needed before your departure. For dogs, as a baseline, I'd like to know walking basics -- how your dog does with the leash, what kind of pace they like to keep (very important on hot days), and if they like approaching other dogs/want to be approached by other dogs. If they're more on the reactive side, I'm well-versed in planning routes that accommodate that!
A typical day
When dog-sitting, I look forward to having a four legged coworker/roommate to spend time with. Plenty of play, outside time, and cuddles guaranteed. I'm all about meeting my daily step goals so rest assured your pet will be well-walked and tuckered out by the end of the day.

Availability
I work from home and have flexibility for home stays. I'm not able to have a pet of my own at the moment so pouring lots of love into yours would be a welcome addition to my routine/work day!
