Pup professional:)

Pet care experience

I grew up in a dog groomer household, and I started pet sitting and walking when I was 10. I have experience with dogs of all shapes, sizes, and energy levels. My first client was a 100 pound retired sled dog from Alaska, Buster. We would go on neighborhood walks and then cool off in the puppy pool after a hot afternoon. Apart from sitting I’ve owned dogs, cats, reptiles and fish since I was 5, Dr.Doolittle was my hero growing up and it shows :) I absolutely love dogs and just love any experiences I get to have and the little cuties I get to meet. I am an absolute dog mom. Always have toys and healthy treats close by ❤️ For dog walking, I have a few planned routes depending on the preference, portable water bowls and treats. If requested, puppy pool parties are available. Bonuses include doggie massages, cuddles, fun & games. For boarding/day care options; I do 15-20 min walks every 3-4 hours, long walk 30min-1hour around sunset and sunrise along the canal or we take a trip into Tempe and visit some parks. The apartment I live in is a 3b 2b with 2 balconies, the 3rd room is unoccupied and used as the dogs room :) Pets are allowed on all furniture, and will be bathed before going home ( my mastiff tends to leave drool lines 😅), nail trims can be done if asked! I have experience with puppies, seniors, working dogs, support animals, disabled/injured/ill pets. I can administer medications needed. I had a weenier dog growing up that had to have seized medication every morning and a rectal syringe when having episodes. I have experience with retired working dogs as well and have experience with pets with arthritis and can provide care accordingly. I have experience with training, for fun and for protection, guard, obedience and respect training. Can provide upkeep in training and offer suggestions as requested. I also have knowledge in pet nutrition, my girl is transitioning to BARF diet due to allergies, so I have the experience and knowledge to maintain your pets diet and also provide tips and recipes. I regularly make healthy treats for my dog and can be made to be sent home with them if requested as well :)

This worked out perfectly all the way around. Siearra is excellent with dogs. I really appreciate that she only takes one dog at a time. My golden retriever just loved playing with her dog, Freya, all day!! She sent quite a few pics! And trimmed Dutch’s nails (I had asked her to). The location is super convenient to activities in the valley. It was on our way to the Diamondbacks game. Just a little detour to drop him off and pick him up, Would totally recommend Siearra!

Sierra was great and I would definitely recommend booking with her! She pays attention to detail and will make sure your fur baby is taken care of! Sierra went above and beyond with my dog and she even gave him a nice brush before I picked him up!!

Sierra was amazing, I will definitely rebook her for my dog Olivia. She met with me the weekend before Olivia’s stay and was very understanding of her allergies and medications as she has had experience with that. She was very communicative throughout the whole boarding time. She sent a bunch of pictures and I could tell Olivia was having a great time with her dogs Freya and Turbo! Olivia was very happy when I left her and when I picked her up. Thank you Sierra for taking care of my baby when I was traveling!!

I don’t have a fenced yard but I have 3 dog parks within a 3-5 minute drive. I have all kinds of toys and bones on hand, so please let me know if your dog has to avoid certain toys! Dogs are always walked 1 on 1 and always leashed. I have extra harnesses and leashes on hand in case anything. I highly recommend dog boots are brought with their overnight bag, if not I do have extras on hand as well. I request usual feeding times and walk times to make sure your dog stays on their schedule!

Information Siearra G. would like to know about your pet

Just little tips on preferences, like preferred treats or favorite places to go for a walk. Any allergies or issues would be appreciated as well. Would also like to know of favorite dog parks, history with parks. And if they have any fears or issues they are working though. I would also like to know their eating/sleeping schedule so it’s not so different for your pup!

A typical day

A typical day starts with good morning cuddles and a walk around the neighborhood . Then it’s time for breakfast and more cuddles, some fetch, tug-o-war and a few tricks for treats. When it’s too hot to go play outside I break out the kiddie pool and hose and have a water day on the patio followed by ice cubes and frozen dog treats. On days cool enough to go adventure we visit approved dog parks that have been discussed before hand. Then late afternoon is naps and walks in the shade and when it’s cooled off we have a long at the park at sunset. Late night walks stay in the gated area. So please let me know if your dog is good with others or is easily excited:)
