Pet care experience
Growing up, I was the kid who naturally gravitated towards the animal in a crowded room. I find comfort and peace in the presence of animals and in taking care of them. Over the past 4 years, I’ve been trusted to pet sit for my neighbors and friends while they’ve been away from home. I have special experience taking care of senior dogs, giving them their medicine (pills, insulin injections, eyedrops) at scheduled times.

Sidnhy is great with dogs! When I first got my rescue dog that was a bite risk she could take her out and keep the dog under control and calm without any issues. Very good at understanding what a dog can and can’t do and keeping them safe . I have had her take my best friend out multiple times and would have her take the pup out any time. I would recommend Sid to any dog owner

When taking care of pets in my own home, I gradually introduce the animal to my family (if they seem nervous or scared) before fully integrating them into my home. When I'm at a client's home, I always make sure to lock the doors when I leave a house, clean up any messes, and double-check that the animal I'm caring for has enough water.

A typical day
I love going on long walks and exploring nature with dogs. On the flip side, I also enjoy relaxing, laying in the grass, and and basking in the sun with dogs.

My last semester at Oberlin, I have a pretty free and flexible schedule this semester as I’m taking a lighter course load. I also have my car on campus!
