Must Love Dogs! 🩷
Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of a myriad of dogs throughout my life (as well as a few special cats!) and I love every second of interacting with dogs and making them happy. My goal is always to enrich their life and make their day, especially if their owners are away for a short period of time. I have watched dogs as small as 7 pounds and as large as 95 pounds, a multitude of breeds (golden retrievers, labs, poodles, doodles, beagles, shar peis, shih tzus, german shepherds, great danes, coon hounds, so many mixed breeds and more). I currently watch my neighbor’s dog 4x a week for one hour from 12-1pm, and I also have two other regular clients with dogs that I walk at 11:30am and 1pm. I would love to help out other families in need of a daily visit or a daily/multi-weekly walks! As of 2/20/24, I only have one recurring spot left for daily check-in/walks at 1:30pm. I have trained 8 puppies throughout my life and I am quick to pickup any specific commands you would like to me use or reinforce with your dog. I am also able to administer medicine to dogs of all ages.

I am a hyper-vigilant dog owner, so as long as you tell me all of your dogs little quirks and/or needs, I’m happy to accommodate for them. My own goldendoodle has dealt with resource aggressiveness and leash aggressiveness in the past so I’m familiar with being on guard and the use of training to temper certain behaviors.
A typical day
I love to walk my two dogs about 5 days a week! I also play with them a lot, whether that’s fetch or tug o’ war :) There is a trail behind my house that I walk my own dogs on frequently, but I love getting to know new parks and trails as well! I also have a lot of experience training dogs (both young and old) so I’m happy to help with training if that’s something you’d like.

Availability
I am a self-employed silversmith & goldsmith; I own my own jewelry business and have a home studio. My hours are very flexible as I set them myself, I am available most days of the week. I walk my own two dogs 5 times a week, usually about 2-2.5 miles per walk. I already care for my neighbors dog from 12-1pm 3x a week on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays because of his longer work schedule. I would love to care for more dogs and help out with either visits, walks, or home-sitting. My fiancé will be home with our dogs when I leave to home-sit/dog/sit overnight for someone else.
