Background: I have personal experience with owning spaniels in the past so I am used to high energy breeds. Currently I own a rescue lurcher who, whilst huge, is very laid back. He came to us with several behavioral issues (PICA, fear aggression and guarding behaviours), so I have worked closely with Dog's Trust to help nurture him into a more secure and confident dog over the last 3 years. I use a reward based, positive reinforcement approach to training, and a consent based approach towards handling of dogs. I am very patient, and a calming presence around animals, although I'm more than happy to play crazily if required! Dog walking service: - The safety of your dog is my priority. - All terrains. - Happy to clean paws/brush coat if needed. - Responsible with disposing of dog waste. - Mindful of needs, equipped with strategies to handle these and more than happy to follow your lead with this. Drop-in visits - Respectful of your home and rules. - Experience with friends and family for dog sitting and drop ins. - Individual approach to particular needs of dog; happy to play and snuggle, equally comfortable with hands off approach if preferred by dog. - Well versed in dog body language and stress signals due to rescue experience.
